How I Paint Crimson Fist Space Marines
I have never been a fan of mixing colors to get just that right and crisp tone, I just work my way up from a clean basecoat with drybrushing my highlighting colors until im satisfied. Although there are some steps in between that are crucial to have the right depth of the colors and especially on the armor.
Preparation
1 - Clean and assemble models.
2 - Drill holes and apply magnets where suitable.
3 - Glue sand to the tops of the bases.
4 - Spray with Games Workshop Chaos Black Primer.
Blue (armour)
1 - Start with a basecoat of Necron Abyss.
2 - Then liberally highlight with Vallejo Ultramarine Blue. No worries to overdo the drybrushing at this stage.
3 - Wash the entire model with Leviathan purple and let it dry for some hours
